5 Tips for Creating the Perfect Men’s Fitness Regimen

1. Think About What You Want To Achieve
This is, by far, one of the most important steps that goes into creating a men’s fitness routine. Surprisingly, though, it is the one step that a lot of men actually forget about. Think about it; how are you going to keep yourself motivated if you don’t know what you want at the end of all of your hard work? If you want to make sure that you are motivated, and more importantly, you enjoy your fitness regime, then you need to have a think about some goals and targets.
2. Consider Your Schedule
Although a lot of men like to go to the gym to keep fit, for some men this is simply not feasible. If you lead a busy life or you work full time, then it is highly unlikely that you will be able to find the free time to go for a work out at the gym. If you go to the gym in your spare time, then you will probably find yourself not only exhausted, but also very disinterested and unmotivated towards your new regime.
3. Invest In Some Fitness Equipment
Investing in fitness equipment can actually be very beneficial, when it comes to creating a new fitness regime. It can be hard to list different activities that you can do if you don’t know what equipment you will have access to. So, if you want to make sure that your fitness plan is easy to go along with, then purchase a few pieces of equipment first so that you know what is and is not possible.
4. Try to Fit In Some Activities That You Enjoy
Keeping fit doesn’t always have to be about running machines and weight lifting. There are many enjoyable activities that can actually be incorporated into your new fitness regime that will keep things fun. If there are any activities that you enjoy such as rock climbing, or perhaps even canoeing, then add them into your regime. This will ensure that you don’t get bored of your new fitness plan.
5. Write your Plan Down
Unless you have your new fitness regime written down, it is likely that you will start to lose interest. However, if you have everything written down on paper where you can physically see it, not only will you not get bored, but you will also be able to stay motivated. You could even write down your goals and achievements alongside the fitness plan so that you can keep an eye on your progress.
Keeping fit doesn’t have to be a chore. It may be hard work, but as long as you have put the time and effort into your new fitness regime, then there is no reason why you should not be able to enjoy keeping fit, and reach your goals at the same time.

This is a measurement of your body’s fat content compared to everything else, such as muscle, bones and organs. The ideal body fat percentage for women is between 20 and 30 percent depending upon age, except for female athletes who can be as low as 14 percent. Instead of looking at your weight on a scale, get a scale that calculates body fat percentage or use a handheld device. 2. Start a Food Diary Keep track of your eating habits with a food diary . Using a diary gives you the freedom to eat what you want, but also lets you know if you are eating too much or an unhealthy balance of protein, carbs, and fat. You can also keep a physical journal and...
